Sharanya Dental & Implant Care — Uttam Nagar & Janakpuri
Reviewed by Dr. Kartikeya Sharma, MDS Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon Updated
One practice, two addresses in West Delhi, open every day of the week. Most people land here not knowing what treatment they need — only that something hurts, or something is missing, or something looks wrong. So start there. Tell us the symptom and we will name the treatment, the likely cost, and which of the two clinics to walk into.
Book your dental visit
Three details, that's it. We confirm your slot on WhatsApp.
Tell Us What's Wrong. We'll Name It.
Nobody wakes up wanting a root canal. They wake up with a tooth that hurts. Find the line below that sounds like you — it tells you what the treatment is actually called, and takes you to the page that explains it properly.
Pain that arrives after you lie down means the nerve inside is inflamed, not the surface. Painkillers stop working around this stage. Left alone it becomes an abscess and then an extraction.
The gap is cosmetic. The problem underneath is not — the jawbone in that spot starts thinning within months, and the teeth on either side begin leaning in. An implant replaces the root, which is what stops both.
Healthy gums do not bleed. Bleeding means hardened deposit sitting under the gum line, and no amount of brushing shifts it. This is the cheapest thing on our price list and the one that prevents the expensive ones.
Three different problems get described the same way — colour, shape, and spacing. Colour is often just deposit and cleaning fixes it. Shape needs veneers. Spacing may need orthodontics first. The exam tells you which of the three you actually have.
Teeth move at any age — the biology does not switch off at eighteen. Most of our orthodontic patients are working adults, and aligners exist precisely because they did not want metal visible in meetings.
Swelling behind the last molar is usually a wisdom tooth trapped against the one in front. This is surgical work, so it is scheduled with Dr. Kartikeya Sharma rather than handled at a routine appointment. Do not wait for it to spread.
Bring the cap with you if you still have it — a good number can be cleaned and re-cemented the same day for far less than a replacement. Keep the tooth covered in the meantime; exposed dentine chips quickly.
Milk teeth still matter — they hold the space for the adult tooth behind them. Caught early it is a filling. Caught late it is an extraction and then a space problem for the next ten years. And if the child gets distressed, we stop and try again another day.
None of this is a diagnosis — it is the shortlist a dentist would start from. The actual answer comes from looking in your mouth.
Three Numbers Worth Knowing First
Ring around West Delhi asking what something costs and you will mostly be told to come in and find out. Here are the three figures that orient everything else.
Saving is cheaper than replacing, every single time. That gap is the entire argument for coming in early.
Ranges, not quotes. One small cavity and four large ones are not the same job. Your figure is fixed in writing after the examination and before anything begins.
You Saw the Number. Here's the Rest of It.
Two things decide whether a big treatment actually happens: what occurs if it fails, and whether you can pay for it this month. Both are answered before you agree to anything.
Lifetime Warranty
Offered on selected implant systems. If a covered implant fails, it is replaced. The point of a warranty is to move the risk off the person who cannot absorb it — which, in an implant case, is you and not us.
* Applicable on selected implant systems. Terms explained in writing before treatment begins.0% No-Cost EMI
Implants, braces and full-mouth work can be split across monthly instalments with nothing added on top. Nobody should be living with a broken tooth for two years because one lump sum was not available on one particular day.
Subject to eligibility. Ask before your appointment so it is arranged in advance, not at the counter. What ₹200 Actually Buys You
The most common reason people delay is not money. It is not knowing what they are walking into. So here is the whole thing, start to finish.
-
1
You arrive
Walk in any day between 11 AM and 9 PM, or message first and we hold a slot. If you are in real pain, say so on arrival — that changes the order of everything below.
-
2
The dentist looks properly
Dr. Nikhil Kumar examines the tooth you came about and the rest of your mouth, because the two are often related. An X-ray is taken only if it will change the decision.
-
3
You get the plan, in writing, with figures
Not a verbal estimate at the counter. A written plan naming the treatment, the sequence, and the cost. If a surgeon is needed for part of it, that is stated here too.
-
4
You go home and decide
Nothing begins on day one unless you are in pain and want it dealt with. Take the plan away, compare it, think about it, come back when you have decided. Treatment starts when you say so.
A Dentist Every Day. A Surgeon When It Matters.
Two people, one clear division of work — so nobody is doing a procedure outside what they trained for.
Dr. Nikhil Kumar
BDS, PGIMS Rohtak
Examines you, writes the plan, and handles routine work — fillings, root canals, crowns, cleaning and children's dentistry.
Dr. Kartikeya Sharma
MDS, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery · ex-Senior Resident, Safdarjung Hospital
Implants, impacted wisdom teeth and difficult extractions. Your procedure is scheduled around him, at the same clinic — you are not referred elsewhere.
The Names That Go Into Your Mouth
You are told which system is being used and why, before you agree to it. If a quote elsewhere does not name the brand, it is not a comparable quote.
Cases From These Two Clinics
Our own patients, not a stock library. What your teeth need is decided by examining them, never by matching them to a photograph.
Individual results vary. Photographs are of treatments carried out at our clinics and are published with patient consent.
A Patient, On Camera
Written testimonials are easy to type. This one is a patient describing the visit in their own words.

Questions About Us, Not Teeth
Is "Sharanya Healthcare" the same place as "Sharanya Dental and Implant Care"?
Yes. Sharanya Healthcare is the clinic group; the dental department trades as Sharanya Dental and Implant Care, which is the name you will see on Google Maps. Same premises, same reception, same billing.
You list two phone numbers. Which one do I call?
088001 07527 reaches Uttam Nagar and 084488 66205 reaches Janakpuri. Either will book you into either clinic, so if you are unsure, just use the first one — it is the number on our WhatsApp too.
Do I need an appointment, or can I just walk in?
Walk in whenever you like between 11 AM and 9 PM, any day of the week. Messaging first does not get you seen faster, it just means less time sitting in the waiting area. If you are in serious pain, call ahead so we can keep a chair free.
Where do I find the full treatment costs?
Every charge is published on our dental treatments page — consultation, X-rays, cleaning, fillings, RCT, crowns, implants, braces, whitening and dentures, with ranges rather than one misleading headline figure. Both clinics charge identically.
Is Sharanya only a dental clinic?
No. Dental is our largest department, but the same premises also run ENT, physiotherapy and dermatology. If you came here for teeth and need something else, you are not being sent across the city for it.
My tooth is hurting right now. What do I do?
Come in today, any time up to 9 PM, or call so we hold a slot. When someone arrives in real pain, settling the pain comes before any discussion of treatment plans or costs.
Emergency dentist in Uttam Nagar → Emergency dentist in Janakpuri →
Dental is the biggest department here. It isn't the only one.
The same two clinics also run ENT, physiotherapy and dermatology, with the same hours and the same reception desk.
The Cheapest Appointment Is The Early One.
A cavity caught this month is a ₹500 filling. The same cavity next year is a root canal and a crown. Nothing about that gets better by waiting — it only gets more expensive.
